About the visit to the Lalish temple complex

On May 13, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Erbil, Mr. Maxim Rubin, paid a visit to the Lalish temple complex, a sacred site for the Kurdish Yazidi community, located in the Dohuk Province. In the course of the visit, he held a meeting with the leader of the Yazidis, Mr. Hazim Tahsin Beg.

The parties discussed issues related to the preservation of the Yazidi cultural and religious heritage, the promotion of interfaith dialogue, and prospects for humanitarian cooperation. The Russian side reaffirmed its commitment to fostering constructive relations with all religious and ethnic communities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Particular emphasis was placed on the efforts of the regional authorities to ensure favorable conditions for the harmonious coexistence of all ethno-religious minorities.

لە گفتوگۆکاندا تاوتوێی پاراستنی میراتی فەرهەنگی ئێزیدییەکان و پتەوکردنی دیالۆگی نێوان ئایینەکان و دەرفەتەکانی هاوکاری مرۆیی کرا. هەروەها جەخت لەسەر بەرژەوەندی ڕووسیا بۆ پاراستنی پەیوەندی باش لەگەڵ نوێنەرانی سەرجەم گرووپە ئایینی و نەتەوەییەکانی هەرێمی کوردستان کرایەوە.
