Meeting of Maxim Rubin, Consul General of Russia in Erbil, with Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government
On May 2, 2024, Maxim Rubin, Consul General of Russia in Erbil, met with Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government. They discussed the political developments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, security issues as well as preparation for the parliamentary elections in the KRI. Both sides stressed the necessity to increase the bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic spheres.
